How to get Telegram for macOS

Its very simple how to get Telegram App to run on your macOS. Simply head to https://macos.telegram.org/ and download the .dmg file for installation on your macOS powered computer.

If you choose the route for App Store the will automatically open the app store for installation else you will receive a warning;

“Telegram” is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?

Just ignore the warning and go-ahead to Open. The Telegram for macOS software is available under GPL v2 license. Source code is available on GitHub. Beta version.

After installation enters your country and the phone number. You will receive a code to your Telegram App already installed on your mobile phone. After entering the login code you are all set up.
