MTN Introduce Kasaka Savings

MTN Zambia in partnership with Barclays Bank has introduced a Kasaka Savings account on the Mobile Money platform.
Labeled as and under the TwaSolva crusade “Kasaka” is a new feature on the MTN Mobile platform.
Kasaka in local terms simply means i have enough money to fill a bag. Earlier in the week, MTN CEO Charles Molapisi posted on his Facebook account to keep a check for Friday 21st September for the news update.
Kasaka similar to Patumba investment fund will work on the MTN MoMo platform. Meaning you need to have a Mobile Money Account and a Barclays Account.

A Lensesview check on the MTN Mobile Money menu saw a feature under option 4 Kongola but now labeled Kongola & Savings and in the submenu option 2 says Kasaka Savings. When you navigate to the option you receive a message “You are not whitelisted to access this menu”
How will MTN Mobile Money Savings Kasaka work? Is MTN becoming another bank in Zambia?
