MultiChoice Zambia Increase DSTV Subscription By 10%
Effective 1st April 2019 DSTV subscription in Zambia will go up by 10%. This is according to the MultiChoice Zambia sms price adjustment notification to its subscribers.
“Please not of the price adjustment effective 1st April 2019. Access K115, Family K210, Compact K330, Compact Plus K490, Premium K850, Access Fee K110 says DStv” An SMS read from MultiChoice Zambia.
In addition to international content DStv through Multi Choice provide content for the Zambian community such as Zambezi channel and the local MTN FAZ super league which covers an average of 360 minutes per weekend of live TV.
Last time DStv had an adjustment to its pricing was in September 2017 when they slashed down the monthly subscriptions.
Digital Disruption Catching up with DStv
For many this adjustment was expected as DStv like to increase the pricing on the same date of the year 1st April.
On the DStv movie Rentals it appears the pricing will remain the same as DStv has not said anything about Box Office price update.
